It was still really winter in Sweden when we boarded the flight to Valencia. But slowly it started to get warmer, and in Spain it was even a little more springy. Sweet! But something always goes wrong…
Sweden-winter
Winter in Sweden (or Stockholm we should say) has been fantastic this year. With respect to anyone who hates cold and snow: we still prefer 0m winter vibes to slush. We definitely had some challenges with the houseboat (the heating cable at the inlet and outlet!) but for the most part it went well.

The photos are from an evening walk we took in Solna, a few evenings before we left for Spain. It was snowing heavily and it was getting warmer, but it was fun!

Spain spring
We have now spent a few days in beautiful Valencia, on the Spanish coast. We went on a press trip and it turned out to be a very large group, with journalists from Europe, but also from Asia, North America and South America. Full house, and many pleasant encounters!
It was not it was very warm all the time (sometimes it even froze a little), but at certain times the sun warmed up very well. For example, we were able to enjoy a welcome drink and some snacks in the rooftop bar of our hotel – absolutely fantastic! We also experienced many more fun things in the beautiful city of Valencia, which we will tell you more about soon.

Never just simple and beautiful…
But is everything always just simple and beautiful? No really, life isn’t like that… We both arrived in Valencia by plane without any problems, but our checked luggage did not. Peter’s bag arrived on the very last evening, and my bag arrived… just in time to check in for the flight back to Stockholm! It was just a matter of wearing the same outfit for four days and using a free toothbrush at the hotel reception…

We also had a lot to do in terms of collaborations, trade fair preparations, advertising and much more, which meant we had to work on computers early in the morning and late at night. What worries us now, however, is that Peter had problems with his computer during the flight home. We haven’t resolved this yet, so it’s just something else to deal with. Of course that happens when we have the most to do and really need the computers…

This week: Thankful for…
When the computer goes on strike and you have absolutely no time to sit without it, it’s closer to whining than being grateful, but okay, we’re working on it… This week we’re grateful for the opportunity to experience both Scandinavian and Southern European latitudes. Variety is great! We are also grateful that our suitcases are finally back with their owners. Your turn…what are you grateful for this week?

Next week
By the time you read this, we will be back home from Spain. You can soon expect reports about Valencia, and a little later also about the Stockholm Husvagn Husbil fair, which is approaching. For now we wish you a happy Friday and weekend!
