Arsenal took a dramatic 2-1 way against Newcastle United on Sunday, thanks to a late header Gabriel Magalhaes (6.2m).
This is what we saw in St James’ Park.
Late Gabriel -header
A header in the 96th minute through Gabriel saw Arsenal coming from behind to beat Newcastle.
The Brazilian, a popular choice for Gameweek 6 Yoker signs, nodded successfully home replacement Martin Odegaard‘s (£ 7.9 million) angle.
He also claimed defensive contribution (Defcon) points and the maximum bonus, with a total of 13 points.
Before that, Mikel Merino (£ 5.9 million) connected to a cross of Declan Rice (£ 6.5 million), a precise header in the bottom corner to raise it.
It marked Rice’s third assist of the 2025/26 campaign.
Given their dominance of Dead-Ball, it is no surprise of the expected goals of Arsenal (XG) of 4.55 from set theater pieces the highest in the division:

Arsenal is on West Ham United Next, which have admitted more set goals this season than any other side.
They will have a new manager in the Dugout, Geest.
Elsewhere, Viktor (£ 9.0 million) Almost a penalty won and registered six shots. Livelier than in earlier road races, he also created a few opportunities for his teammates.
Rear seat (£ 7.5 million) and Jurrien Hout (£ 5.8 million), however, were perhaps the two best players from Arsenal.
Eze was used as one of the two attacking midfielders of Mikel Arteta and was refused twice by Nick Pope (£ 5.0 million). As far as wood is concerned, he caused real problems on the overlap and combined two shots with three opportunities created.

Why Saliba was a sub
Mikel Arteta came a surprise with his starting line-up on Sunday, with Cristhiane Mosquera (£ 5.4 million) William Saliba (£ 6.0 million) in the middle.
The Spaniard explained his decision and said:
‘[Saliba] Comes from an ankle injury that he is still trying to solve. We have to manage the team and that is why we need players we can trust and trust. “ – Mikel Arteta
With Arsenal 1-0 down and Mosquera struggled, however, Saliba was sent during the break.
Bukayo from (£ 9.8 million) also continued his comeback from injury with another 69 minutes here.
Discussing his substitutes – Saliba, Merino, Gabriel Theminies (£ 6.9 million), Odegarard and Myles Lewis Skelly (£ 5.3 million) – Arteta said:
“Those who come in, they are really fully focused. My duty is to win the game for the team and they have done it all in an incredible way. Martinelli comes in and it can be seen from the start, his threat. Saliba comes in, 45 minutes and I think it was excellent. From them.” – Mikel Arteta on his replacements
Two in three for Woltemade
Nick Woltemade (£ 7.1 million) nodded in the opener in St James’ Park, his second goal in three league games.
A handful of his 66 minutes on the field, the German is now set to a favorable series of opponents.
Indeed, Newcastle is fifth on our Ticker season In Game Week 7-11 from an attacking perspective.

“That [the Arsenal game] Would have been another great learning experience for him because the speed of that game, the physicalness of the game, is just as difficult as you get. We know that Arsenal is a very strong team with their set-plays, there are many different facets of their play that require physicality-ours is very similar. He will leave, ‘Phew, it is fast, it is strong’, and you have to bring it yourself to be successful. I thought his goal was a brilliant example of what he can be. But I don’t think we, as a team, fed him well. I don’t think there was a large number of crosses in the box. What he was feeding, I thought he was doing well. ‘ – Eddie – Rights on Nick Woltemade
Eddie Howe chose his usual 4-3-3 formation against Arsenal, with And burn (£ 5.0 million) on the left, before switching to a rear five after the recording of Woltemade.
Anthony Gordon (£ 7.4 million) Meanwhile, after serving its three-game Domestic Prohibition, the Magpies struggled to create high-quality opportunities, such as reflected in their low 0.43 xg.

Livramento injury, why Hall was absent
Tino Livramento (£ 5.1 million), an ever -present starter for Newcastle in the Premier League this season, is probably confronted with an enchantment on the sidelines after he has been stretched on Sunday.
After having fallen on his leg, Howe said:
“I don’t have an update to give you, except that I know what you know. Seeing him that way was really painful, I think, and he has been such a big player for us in so many different ways, you know, his versatility, his posture, his quality. If we will miss that for a long time, that is a huge blow. I think it’s a knee. [injury]Yes.” – Eddie Howe on Tino Livramento
Colleague full-back Lewis Hall (£ 5.3 million) was also absent in the team on Sunday.
The 21-year-old started last week against Bournemouth and Bradford City, reportedly with his omission precaution instead of something in the injury. There was a return to the Union Saint-Gilloise of Belgium on Wednesday, even proposed, which would be a timely boost in the light of the setback of Livramento.
