Arne Slot has said that ‘the last thing he is worried about is Mohamed Salah scoring goals for Liverpool again.
Salah has had a difficult start to the season and has not scored from open play in seven Premier League appearances, the longest spell of his Liverpool career.
The Egyptian was left on the bench for the midweek win over Eintracht Frankfurt before missing a good chance after being introduced as a substitute.
Salah removed Liverpool-related content from parts of his social media this week in response to criticism he faced online.
It comes just months after the 33-year-old inspired Liverpool to the Premier League title, including winning the PFA Player of the Year award and the Golden Boot.

Ahead of this weekend’s trip to Brentford, Slot has backed Salah to find his form. He said the winger has been scoring goals his ‘whole life’ and is confident the goals will start flowing again soon.
“Players miss opportunities and he is human. We are not used to him missing opportunities,” Slot said at his pre-match press conference.
“The most important thing is that he has always scored goals for Liverpool. The last thing I worry about is Mo scoring goals again. He has done that all his life and I expect him to do that again in the coming weeks and months.”
“There are quite a few changes in the team, which means everyone has to find new connections.”
