Our sixth sign of the zodiac, Virgin has a talent to see the highest potential in all things – including itself. It is a sign of continuous refining and refinement. What results is an approach to life that is more evolution than revolution. Virgo also reminds us of the power that is inherent in clearing away noise, excess, crowds and what is not ours, so that we can achieve the truth of who we are under it.
Virgin dates
Anyone whose date of birth takes place between August 23 and September 22, was born under the sign of Virgo, which means that the sun was in the constellation of Virgo at the time of their birth, making Virgo their swonts and one of the primary influences.
Yet each of us has some virgin in us, because we are a microcosm of all the archetypes of the zodiac, each of which arranges a specific area of life. We are all influenced by the virgin archetype, to varying degrees, all year round, especially during these dates.
Which planet rules Virgo?
MercuryThe planet of communication, rules the Virgin and is responsible for the distinctive, precise, agile spirit of the sign.
Mercury actually rules two signs, Gemini and Virgin. In Gemini, an air sign, Mercury is curious and broadly focused. It collects and changes information of intellectual importance. In virgin Grandt Mercury himself. It analyzes, organizes and refines information in ways that even turn complex ideas into simple truths and wisdom. Gemini likes information. Virgo likes to apply information to practical, everyday ways that are used for others.
Element
An earthboard, Virgin is a calm, earth force. It anchores us in the tangible, the real and the literal and moves in accordance with what is practical, measurable and stable. Earth drawing have a congenital connection with the rhythms of the natural world, including a consciousness of and care for the body.
Modality
Virgo is a mutable sign that by definition is very adaptable and able to navigate changeability.
As a changeable sign ruled by the earth element, Virgo is designed to remain anchored by constant adjustments and refinements. Virgo reacts easily to the constant evolution of life when it is in balance.

Virgin symbol
During ancient astrology and mythology, Virgo is often depicted as the girl or the virgin goddess. In this context, the word ‘virgin’ refers to someone who is independent and self -sufficient. We see this in early mythology, where the power and status of the virgin goddess was not dependent on or owed a partner or external power. It came rather exclusively from the inside. No one else can possess a virgin.
The visual symbol for virgin offers layered meanings that are drawn from both the old letters and symbolic interpretation. While it is said that his constellation looks like a girl with connected drives of wheat, the visual of the letter M is supposed to refer to Mary in Christian times or the girl in earlier traditions, who forces us to explore his female principle. The tail loops speaks to Virgo’s self -control, sovereignty and perseverance.
Virgin personality
Virgin welcomes self -returns in all its forms, including organizing our houses and our habits, as well as the maintenance of our mind and bodies. It brings us the opportunity to bring order and goal to everything that exists in us and to integrate everything we have learned and experienced in the most optimally functioning version of ourselves.
When our virgin is in balance, we have a clear feeling of who we are and what is meant for us, often by saying no to something that is not coordinated for us. We trust ourselves to convert the dreams and desires of our imagination into usable and practical steps to make them tangible.
We are able to honor the beauty and perfection of every moment in life, even though we know that we are never an end product. We understand that we are always complete as we are and that it is constantly changing. While we continue to refine and integrate experiences, insights and information, our definition of itself evolves. We trust ourselves.
Virgo helps to ensure that every step that is taken is intentionally and in the direction of our highest potential. We take every step on purpose and deliberately. Through this approach we can bring our dreams into our tangible reality.
Virgo’s more difficult characteristics
However, the gift from Virgin can also be a curse. If it is not checked, it can fall into distorted perfectionism and blind us to the beauty, wholeness and goodness that are already present at any time. When we have an unbalanced, we can experience a feeling that our work, our lives and ourselves are incomplete. They seem to be missing. They never seem to be enough because of the conviction that we are only worthy if we have reached an idealized state. This can lead to a postponement or extermination when it comes to taking action on the things that Virgo wants the most.
A preoccupation with the highest ideal can slide into an obsession with the observed mistakes in ourselves, our work, our interests, even others in our lives. The focus on cleaning and organizing can become a need to control and perfect our house, body, work or habits. In this dysfunctional condition, our routines ironically begin to control us.
In its highest truth, the medicine that shares this sign is the beauty and holiness that is present in every step of the process. It reminds us that completion is not the same as perfection and that sharing our work as it is can be precisely the action it refines because of the next evolved expression. True Virgin Medicine remembers that purity is not static or fixed. It focuses on life while it EBT and flows.
Medicine for Virgin
Support for Virgin takes the form of the construction organization and order in our time. That may be to put habits in place that bring consistency and structure to our days and weeks, as well as detailed plans that help us get ahead. Also supporting the body through movement and self -care routines and even challenging the stories that we have always told ourselves by self -consciousness or talk therapy.
Witnessing the ever -evolving aspects of the Self can help your perspective on self -shift. Knowing that constant refinement is inherent part of you, how would you appear differently for yourself every day, maintain yourself, trust yourself?

Virgo’s role in the zodiac
The zodiac can best be understood as two halves of a circle. The first half, which Ram consists of Virgo, relates to the development of the individual self. These signs are self -controlled. They focus on creating and learning who we are and bring moments of clarity and self -definition.
The second half, scales to fish, symbolizes our journey to the world and our relationship with other people and society. This sign forces the already defined self to communicate with everything that exists outside the itself.
By the time we reach the sixth sign of Virgo, we have already established a feeling of who we are. Here we come across a peak of the experiences and self-examination of the first five-cow farming initiating with RAM, building stability and endurance with Taurus, developing the rich in the intellect with Gemini, learning how they can cherish themselves and a feeling of belonging to cancer and expressing our authentic self with Leo.
In Virgin we start to integrate everything we have learned. Here we constantly fit to who we are and how we choose to be in the world. His role in daily life is refining and defining itself through very intentional routines and habits and continuous self -analysis, learning and integration, transmuting and becoming.
Each Zodiac board exists along an axle with a different plate. These two signs fall opposite each other on the Zodiac Circle and may initially appear to be opposite. Yet they contain the medicine that the other needs. Virgin’s medicine can be found in the opposite sign of fish. A water sign brings fish. Virgo gets Virgo to take a step back from the microscope and experience life by releasing a wider lens, releasing any illusion of control and trusting in a larger design that is beyond our control.
In the highest expression, Virag has the wisdom that the journey is the destination. It is over time and the continuous integration of experiences that we refine ourselves, closer to the truth of who we are at every step.
