Australian Star Pacer Mitchell Starc takes pension from T20 internationals

Australian Fast Bowler Mitchell Starc has called time on his T20 international career and laid the curtain on a decorated 65 match Stint in which he claimed 79 Wickets. His count is in second place on the list of Wicket-Kakers from Australia of all time, behind only leg spinner Adam Zampa.

Starc continues to play franchise cricket

Starc made his T20i debut in 2012 against Pakistan and quickly settled as a strike weapon with the new ball. His ability to swing deliveries at a rapid pace and to give sharp spells in ICC tournaments made him a key figure in the White-Ball setup of Australia. His most striking achievement came in 2021, when he played a central role in guiding Australia to their first T20 World Cup title.
