A century against the Aiden Markram-led side helped young batting sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal become only the sixth Indian to score a century in all three formats of the game.
Yashasvi Jaiswal slams maiden ODI century
Jaiswal is considered the next big thing in Indian cricket, with several current and former cricketers rating him better as a batsman than the Test and ODI skipper, Shubman Gill.

The left-handed opening batsman has played sensational knocks time and again for India in Test cricket, and in the Indian Premier League (IPL) he has been in good form for the Rajasthan Royals (RR).
However, due to the depth in the Indian cricket team, he has not been able to secure a place in the white-ball teams despite delivering exceptional performances in the limited opportunities.
During the India versus South Africa series, Jaiswal came under the pump for not playing big knocks and falling against the left-arm fast bowlers in a similar manner.
However, the left-handed batsman managed to finally bounce back with a stellar performance in the third ODI match where he hit his maiden ODI century.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was cautious at the start and took his time to settle in the middle. He reached the half-century mark off 75 balls but managed to accelerate to reach the three-figure mark off 111 balls.
On the second ball of the 36th over, Yashasvi Jaiswal took a long delivery from Corbin Bosch for a single to complete his century. The batsman was all excited after reaching the century and celebrated aggressively along with Virat Kohli.
With his century, he joined Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill in the list of batsmen with centuries for India across formats.

I really enjoyed it and am very grateful and blessed – Jaiswal
After winning the Player of the Match award, Yashasvi Jaiswal said that he is blessed and grateful. He also revealed how chatting with the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma has helped him improve his game.
“I really enjoyed it and I’m very grateful and blessed. We talked a lot about being able to play and set the pace. The last two games I couldn’t convert and I was thinking about how to balance the innings. Sometimes I thought about attacking and then playing the singles,” he said.
“I have to control my thoughts about which shots I can play. If necessary, I have to go after the bowlers. Of course, Virat Paaji came and he played a lot of shots. He kept giving me small targets and I really enjoyed it.”
