Net sales fell 10.8% from $263.8 million to $235.2 million, while comparable sales fell 8.3%.

Profitability figures are falling

Gross profit margin was 34.9%, compared to 36.1% in the same quarter last year.

Compared to $19.6 million, or 7.4% of net sales, in the third quarter of the prior year, adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) was $9.8 million, or 4.2% of net sales.

Fiscal outlook for 2025

For the full fiscal year, Torrid Holdings expects net sales of $995 million to $1,002 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $59 million to $62 million.

The company expects to close 180 stores this fiscal year. So far, it has closed 74 stores, leaving 560 stores remaining at the end of the quarter, compared to 655 stores a year ago.
