Which old friends will the Braves reunite with for the 2026 season?

Look, the Braves are nothing if not loyal… for the most part. One thing they’ve enjoyed doing over the years? Bring back old friends for one last, or even not so last, hurray. Off the top of my head, I can think of bringing back Jorge Soler and Luke Jackson at the 2024 Trade Deadline, the seemingly never-ending saga of Eddie Rosario, Adam Duvall coming back multiple times, and even someone like Jesse Chavez seemingly having his presence on the team written in the stars until he finally retired.

I’m looking at the small free agent list at this point and boy is there reunion potential. Kyle Wright was traded to the Royals, did not pitch in a Major League game for them and has been a free agent for a few days. The Brewers released Tucker Davidson a day after Wright hit the free agent rolls; last year he was okay in the KBO. Michael Soroka was a great starter last year and our collective love for him burns hotter than the sun.

Sean Newcomb (no)? Shelby Miller? Kolby Allard? Does Griffin Canning count? Rafael Monter – hahaha no. Kirby Yates, Lucas Sims, Gio Urshela, Luke Jackson again… ever Braves’ minor league curiosity Dylan Moore?

Anyway, I’m done listing names, but I’m nowhere near scratching the surface of the “one-off Braves.” What reunions do you think will happen this season or over the course of the season?
