The derby is fast approaching.
This Saturday and only one day to go before the 2pm kick-off on Wearside, Sunderland against Newcastle United.
Newcastle United won the most recent derby very easily last year, 3-0 away from home.
It’s now more than a decade since the Mackems last defeated Newcastle United.
So how confident are you this time: take a draw or gamble and go for all three points?
This was the big question…

We gave Newcastle United fans the two options and hear the results below, the percentage who voted for each option:
31% Deal – I would take a punt on Sunderland’s derby against Newcastle if it were on offer now
69% No deal – Let’s take our chance and go for all three NUFC points in Sunderland
An interesting result, less than a third of voters would now settle for a point, while more than two-thirds of Newcastle United voters would prefer NUFC to take their chances and go all out for the win!
