The U19 team of the US has secured their fourth qualification for the ICC Men’s U19 World Cup. They will appear a second consecutive appearance after winning the U19 qualification match of 2025 ICC Americas Men. They took care of the title with a victory of nine Wicket over Argentina in the Param Veers Sports Complex on Friday.

The US, led by Wicketkeeper-Batter Arjun Mahesh, dominated the double Round-Robin qualifying match in Rydal, Georgia. They have sealed a place in the U19 World Cup of 2026 ICC Men with one more match to play against Canada on August 16.

They opened their campaign with a 65-run victory over Canada, followed by victories against Bermuda and Argentina. The hosts crushed Bermuda for the second time before the match against Argentina.

ICC U19 World Cup 2026 Line-up completed with 16 teams
The ICC U19 World Cup will contain 16 teams, with the top 10 of the 2024 edition that protects automatic qualification, in addition to full member host Zimbabwe. Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, Pakistan, Nieuw -Zeeland, Sri Lanka, South Africa and West India provided qualification.
The remaining five places were decided through regional qualifications. Tanzania qualified from Africa, the US from America, Afghanistan from Asia, Japan from East Asia-Pacific and Scotland from Europe.
Scotland will appear his seventh in the last eight U19 World Cup cycles, which retain its strong presence in the tournament. Afghanistan stood out Nepal at the net running speed after their last Round-Robin match was washed.
