We have all presented our Dream Automotive collaborations over the years. What if this manufacturer can simply borrow a few engines that would certainly be a great sports car; Wouldn’t it be great if these people just made this thing a little better to drive; And imagine that this company has stylized that brilliant machine otherwise for something that approaches perfection. This newest Monterey stand Collab is probably not one that has been discussed a lot, but it sounds absolutely brilliant: a Meyers Manx Buggy, completely reworked and prepared for competition by Porsche Rally specialists Tuthill. Talk about a dream team: ‘Meyers Manx calls from the start, shouts fun, laughs, days and friends. Tuthill has facilitated more global adventures than perhaps most of the cars on the planet. We thought we would join forces … “
Op dit moment wordt het LFG genoemd, wat het persmateriaal zou impliceren voor ‘laten we flipping gaan’; In reality there is a somewhat naughty word in the middle there, but we will leave that to your imagination. The message is clear: this is possible for the wildest, most exciting off-road adventures, both solo and as part of the wider LFG community. See the first 20 of the 100 units built are eligible for the inaugural LFG Baja Tour in 2027, which will celebrate 50 years since the Meyers Manx won 1000 (or Mexican 1000, as it was in 1977). That certainly promises to be the experience of your life.
Especially if you are considering the specification. There are not yet tons of specific details, but what is shared from Monterey Car Week sounds absolutely sensational. The LFG is offered with ‘different engine specifications’, the most striking of which is a unit of four valves derived from the Tuthill K’; You know, the 11,000 rpm flame thrower of super lightweight 911 projects. Imagine that, in it. There will also be an inconsel outlet, a sequential six-speed gearbox and four-wheel drive with in the front, middle and back slip diffs.

Right things, actually, and that is really the beginning. The body is all carbon with a rollover structure and every angle is supported by a few adjustable dampers with a hydraulic bump stop, so the LFG should be set for each level of dunebags possible. Indeed, the dampers are said that they are adjustable in the Vijfweg, so budding bayai can tinker with the content of their hearts. The All-Terrain tires are from BF Goodrich, while built-in GPS and a long-term fuel tank should help if an adventurous mind becomes an driver. The amazing interior, complete with a dashboard with full width that actually looks good and the mother of all hand rolls, has air conditioning. So an LFG becomes a challenge to drive, although hopefully not unbearably hard work.
Richard Tuthill said about the LFG: “We crave experiences that we can look back on for the rest of our lives. We now have a great car to help us create it in a unique way. The car looks nice, naughty, it has a character that I have really seen or felt. Air conditioning that helps us the air laches.
We may already have Monterey’s car and Friday hardly started on the west coast. Expect a few spec and price details from the LFG later this year. And bank on a few who are being spoken this weekend.
