We’ve previously provided insight into a long list of transfers that Leicester should have listened to and made their move, but somehow they couldn’t find these special gems.

Daniel Karlsbakk was top scorer in the Norwegian top flight last season, scoring 18 goals in 28 games. He came very close to a €9 million move to Turkish club Trabzonspor in this January transfer window. It all came crashing down in the late minutes of deadline day.

He will remain at Sarpsborg until the next transfer window, which comes in June/July. He should be a priority for Leicester as they look for a new man up front.

We follow Scandinavian football closely and have previously made a few reports about players such as Jens Petter Hauge, Jorgen Strand Larsen And Felix Hoorn Myhre. They are all on the fringes of the national team, yet they all thought they were on a plane to the World Cup.

All of these players were seen as potential players to sign for Leicester, but they did not move or do anything with them. When those players were mentioned, they had no star sign and played in Norway or in the backyard of Dutch football.

We also made a report about it almost ten years ago Abdoulaye Seck. He was an unknown player at Sandefjord Fotball and didn’t have a big name in the game. A few weeks ago he won the AFCON with Senegal. He left Sandefjord to move to Antwerp in 2018 and has since played for Maccabi Haifa in Israel. A strong, tough and powerful centre-back who we think could have been a smart signing at the time.

Daniel Karlsbakk is a special talent and previously tried his luck in Dutch football at Heerenveen. He was very young and returned to Norwegian football. At 22, he looks better than ever. The former Norway U21 international would be an ideal signing for Leicester.

He is a tall player, 1.96. He has great pace, is good in the air and his technical skills are at a level you would think was possible for a player at this height.

He comes from the same area as Erling Haaland and played for Bryne in his early years. He was first introduced to senior football at the age of 16, playing a total of 30 league games and scoring 5 goals. He also represented Viking for two seasons, before his adventure at Herenveen.

We have made a report about it before Daniel Karlsbakk and would love to see him in a Leicester shirt. His best teammate, who assisted him on a number of goals, Sondre Ørjasether, recently came to Twente in the Netherlands. Both players together would have been a great catch.
