“Why am I such an outsider, brother? I’m going to be honest with you, it felt great,” Ferguson said. “I was rather nervous like hell, you know, the camp started. During the camp, every time we spar and came to different practices, travel and make it uncomfortable, after a few rounds I felt really comfortable. You know, was hit a few times, but – Listen, no corner and came out with the victory.”

With the victory, Ferguson is now the MFB -Interim -Midden weight champion. What comes for the beloved fan favorite afterwards, still to be seen, but a face-off after the fight with Dillon Danis may have set the stage for a fight between two of the most polarizing figures of Combat Sports.
Ferguson and Danis were originally planned to fight the Global Fight League banner earlier this year. Unfortunately, the fight never flourished after the MMA-Up start had canceled its inaugural event of two nights due to financial complications.
