After an impressive version on UFC Fight Night Paris, Nassourdine Imavov now separated himself as the clear number one competition in the middleweight division for the belt of Khamzat Chimaev. The fight saw Imavov -Outclass and abroad his opponent, Caio Borralho, on the feet, where he used his speed and strength to win a unanimous decision against the Brazilian. Imavov was also able to defend all Borralho Takedowns during the fight, which emphasized his well -completed game.
While Dana White previously hinted that this fight was not necessarily a number one competition, and that the winner Reiner de Ridder vs. Anthony Hernandez could be the first defending defense of Khamzat Chimaev. It would feel wrong for Imavov not to get the next crack to the following title. He is currently at number two in the division and is on a five-fog winning series with impressive victories over Israel Adesanya, Brendan Allen and Jared Cannonier. His last defeat came against former champion Sean Strickland, but since then Imavov has made major improvements in his game, as a result of which he has risen through the middleweight ranking.
Imavov would cause Chimaev problems if the two would fight. Although filling removals from Borralho can be considered an easier task than doing the same with Chimaev, he has shown that he has a large removal of removal – again, or that would be sufficient to see Khamzat Chimaev’s apparently not to stop, but if he could, Imavov would have the advantage. His boxing looked quickly and accurately and he clearly has a knockout power, as shown in his fight against Israel Adesanya, who saw him win through the second round KO.

It is difficult to see that someone beats Khamzat Chimaev right now, but Imavov has certainly earned his shot in the title, and he might give Chimaev his most difficult test in the middle weight.
