It is planned to take 50 years to bring life to life, but this massive development 25 km north of Perth is now officially underway.

The West Australian government has approved the first three district plans for its large-scale redevelopment of East Wanneroo, which is 25 km north of the capital.

In the north of Perth, the city of Wanerrooo will see a community of 50,000 houses develop in the eastern suburbs.

With this news, the government said it is able to “start the development of the most important growth”, with the first site that would be broken in the west of this extensive new community.

The cover of suburbs such as Wanneroo, Mariginiup, Gnangara, Jandabup and Pinjar, is the East Wanneroo Development Area split into 28 districts that take into account environmental, planning, water management and termination reasons.

According to the plans, not all districts will be developed and the majority of the eastern part will remain zoned for rural use – which is largely what exists on the site today – or Staatsbos.

The largest activity center for the district will be in Gnangara, the center of economic activity and employment for the emerging community of East Wanneroo. It will be surrounded by urban living with a higher density, which switch to lower density from the center.

Ultimately, the community will be maintained by new schools, a shopping center nearby and the future Mariginiup station.

The three districts that have acquired the approval of the West -Australian planning committee are in the west of the development area, identified as a district Zeven – Lake Mariginiup, Precinct Eight – Ranch Road and Precinct 15 – Central Mariginiup.

All are defined as “urban expansion areas” that are set for new homes. Together they are expected to be home to 2000 new homes over 123 hectares.

The first housing that goes up in the area is being developed by Stockland, which has all the Grevillea estate announced that a series of housing types will include, from large blocks for houses in the family to mansions.

In the first subdivision, approximately 180 delivered lots is delivered, whereby the developer is currently interesting in the project.

Western Australian legislative meeting member who represented Wanneroo, Sabine Winton, noted that the government is committed to creating a “well-planned future for neighborhoods in Wanneroo” in collaboration with governments and private entities.

“The plan for East Wanneroo contains all the essential elements of a new community, including district centers and regional playing fields, lots of park land and open space, future schools and transport connections,” said Mrs. Winton.
