The White Sox lost Game One to the Tigers after a long pitching duel – and an even longer rain delay.

Elvis Peguero, who came in the game like a more open for Tyler Alexander, started to hit the game through the side.

On the other hand, Lenyn Sosa started things with a one-out single, but was quickly retired after Andrew Benintendi had hit a doubles.

Riley Greene got the first hit for Detroit with a one-out double. Andy Ibáñez followed a single that was deflected by Peguero. Ibáñez was caught stealing, which was a necessary delay after the start of Peguero started to go aside. He gave up a hit to Dillon Dingler, who in turn sent Greene home and placed the Tigers on the board. Peguero was pulled and Alexander stepped in to end the frame. The SOX retired for the lower half of the inning.

Alexander stopped the Tigers in front of the top of the third. Kyle Teel started the bottom half with a single one, but stayed behind. Detroit picked up back-to-back hits in the fourth, and despite getting two easy outs, Alexander loaded the bases for Zach McKinstry. Happiness would be on the side of the good, while McKinstry would become swinging. The SOX was retired to end the fourth.

The Motor City Kitties could not even collect Miaze in the first place and were filled in again. When the bottom of the fifth started, the broadcast sang the praise of Colson Montgomery – and was quickly rewarded by a home run from Montgomery, who tied the match.

Alexander still had a great inning and kept Detroit off the bases. Paddack issued a one-out walk, but was drawn after the second zero when his pitch continued to increase. Benintendi, who has been set up, ended the inning to land by Mike Tauchman. The seventh was quiet for both teams.

Montgomery has saved the day again with a beautiful Double Chart Turn in the top of the eighth, because there really is nothing that he cannot do. Unfortunately, with a runner on, the SOX could not score, making it button to end the eighth.

Detroit took the lead back in the ninth with a Solohomer from Spencer Torkelson. The wheels began to fall for Brandon, who sets two with two out. But at that moment the sky broke open and the sails came out with two out in the top of the ninth.

An hour later, Cam Vlaader took the hill to restart the game and one pitch ended the top of the frame. Unfortunately, the rain delay killed every comeback -momentum and the SOX was retired.
