Last September The Agency Silicon Valley and the Peninsula proudly sponsored the biennial Woodside Fire Foundation Chili Cook-Off, benefiting the Valley Fire Protection Foundationwhich provides essential emergency services in the area.
The Agency was mainly involved in the planning and implementation of the event Mario Andrighettowho helped put together the auction and helped gather nearly 500 visitors and volunteers to support the cause.
“The Agency and The Andrightetto Group were proud to have the 2025 Woodside Fire Foundation Chili Cook-Off” says Mario. “This event brings our community together while raising vital funds for the brave men and women who protect our homes and families. We are honored to stand with our neighbors and celebrate the tradition, service and spirit of Woodside.”
Held on Runnymede sculpture farmthe event showcased chili from six local vendors, with additional BBQ platters provided Bianchini’s market and wine from local winegrower, Neely Winery.
Rossotti’s Alpine Inn took home the award for best chili and competed in an impressive pool including Buck’s Restaurant, Rolling in dough pizza, Alice’s RestaurantBurner’s Delight, and San Mateo County Mounted Patrol.
The cookout also included an extensive silent and live auction, live music, sculpture farm tours and kid-friendly fire station activities.
“I was honored to take an active role in organizing this year’s fundraiser. I focused on building strong community support and helping cultivate a diverse representation of items and experiences that reflected the character of our community, from local artisan goods to exclusive outings,” said Mario, reflecting on the event. “It was incredibly satisfying to see so many neighbors and partners coming together to make the day a success.”
