The Texas Rangers farm system had an eventful Sunday, with a seasonal final, a dramatic walk-off from Wild Pitch and a few high-scoring competitions.

DSL Rangers Red Season ends

The DSL Rangers Red closed their season with an 8-5 defeat through the DSL athletics in the DSL pool game.

The competition was remarkable for the performance of the 18-year-old double pitcher/DH Seong-Jun Kim, who started on the hill. Kim threw 4 innings and stood up 2 points on 3 hits and threw 6, while he also surrenders one home run.

He hit 0-2 on the plate. For the season, Kim made one pitching -published and threw 2 in 1 inning. As a Slagman, he ended with a stroke average of .167, a .231 on-base percentage and a .333 Slugging percentage in 12 battle rates, with 2 hits (a single and one triple), 1 RBI, 1 Walk, 3 Strikeouts and 3 stolen bases.

Kim was relieved by the 20-year-old LHP Miguel Neira (L, 0-1), who struggled, only killed 0.1 innings and allowing 5 points (4 earned) on 2 hits and 3 walks, with 1 strikeout.

Offensing, the team was led by the 18-year-old catcher Francisco Perez, who hit 3-out-5 with a solo-home run, and the 18-year-old first Honkman Jose Marcano, who hit 3-out-4 with a double and an RBI.

Hickory Crawdads win on a wild throw

The Hickory Crawdads continued their hot streak and won their fourth game in five outings with a dramatic 9-8 victory over the Lynchburg Hillcats (Cleveland Affiliate).

The competition was 8-8 bound in the bottom of the ninth when Gavin Fien hit his first A-Ball-Double. He went to third place in a groundout by Yolfran Castillo, and with two he scored the winning run on a wild throw.

Leading the attack was the 20-year-old Outfielder Marcos Torres, who hit 2-out-3, and Yeremy Cabrera, who took 0-out-3 but took a walk and his 42nd basis of the season stable on 45 attempts.

The newest addition, the 18-year-old SS and 2025 1st round Pick Gavin Fien, hit 1-out-5 with the decisive double. In his first two games, Fien .300 hits with 3 hits, a triple, a double and 3 RBIs in 10 perches.

Hub City Spartanburgers win high scoring affair

The Hub City Spartanburgers defeated the Greenville Drive with 9-8 in a competition where neither of the two starting pitchers removed from the first inning.

Hub City Starter RHP Kolton Curtis struggled with control and gave four straight walks to start the game before they were drawn after just 0.1 innings.

His last rule was 0.1 IP, 3 points (all earned), 5 walks and 0 strikeouts, which raised his ERA to 5.74.

The Drive Starter RHP Austin Ehrlicher was taken out of the game because of an apparent blister before he threw a real pitch.

RHP Adrian Rodriguez came in with the bases loaded and limited the damage, making one run before the next two batters were beaten.

Rodriguez threw 2.2 scoreless innings into relief and gave only 1 hit and threw 3.

On the record, the Spartanburgers scored 9 points on 9 hits

Antonis Macias doubled in a point in the bottom of the second for the first RBI for the Spartanburgers.

They added another point in the 3rd of a Gierider Figuereo Double. Then the Spartanburgers had marked a 4-run 4th inning by Dylan Dreiling’s 2-run HR 10th hours of the season.

Maxton Martin and Cal Stark each had a two-hit game.

Adonis Villavicencio (W, 4-3) earned the victory and Mailon Felix (S, 2) picked up the save. The Spartanburgers are now at 59-60 in the season and 28-26 in the second half, so that the Greenville Drive led with one game.

Frisco Roughriders fall into serial final

The Frisco Roughriders lost from the Corpus Christi Hooks, 12-5, on Whataburger Field, with the Six-Game Series 3-3 split.

Frisco started the score with an RBI Double from Luis Mieses in the first inning, but Corpus Christi responded with four runs in the bottom of the frame against starter Jose Gonzalez.

Gonzalez (L, 1-2) threw 5.0 innings and stood up 5 earned points on 5 hits, 2 walks and 6 strikeouts. He was also accused of a hit-by-pitch. The hooks extended their lead to 5-1 in the second on a Rehab RBI single by Yordan Alvarez.

The Roughriders broke away to the leadership, with Keith Jones II who hit an RBI single in the fourth and Jax Biggers who add another in the sixth to bring the score to 5-3. Corpus Christi, however, opened the game in the seventh with a seven-run inning, including a two-run double from Alvarez and a three-basin loaded walks.

Jones II and Biggers each added another RBI in the eighth, but it was not enough to overcome the shortage. For the hooks, Alonzo Tredwell (W, 2-0) earned the victory, allowing 2 points to allow more than 5 innings.

Remarkable: – Sebastian Walcott Collected three singles and stable are 27th base. – Keith Jones II its blow to five games and now hits .350 (7-out-20) with a .409 OBP EN .450 Slugging percentage during that period.

Round Rock Express Win Series Final

The Round Rock Express defeated the St. Paul Saints 11-5 in a competition with a presence of 8,496.

RHP Caleb Boushley (W, 2-1) won the Express.

Round Rock jumped out to an early 6-0 lead in the first inning, marked by a Grand Slam from C Omar Narváez (2). The E-train extended their lead to 9-0 after two innings, with Abimelec Ortiz (6) hit a 400-foot Homer in the second. That gives him an HR in back-to-back games.

The saints had a four-run fifth inning, but Round Rock responded with two more runs in the sixth to dampen their lead on 11-4. St. Paul scored another point in the sixth, but the Express Bullpen held to guarantee the 11-5 victory.

Important moments: First inning: SS Richie Martin tripled in Dustin Harris, 3B Alan Trejo a single in Martin and C Omar Narváez hit a Grand Slam.

Second inning: 1b Abimelec Ortiz hit a solo -home run and DH Cooper Johnson hit a single in two points.

Sixth inning: LF Trevor Haver had an RBI Single and Alan Trejo scored on a doubles.

The Round Rock Express improves to 63-61.
