With a few weeks to go to go here in the regular season, this will be my last Sagnof -Stolen Honkartkel of the year. I hope you enjoyed our weekly looks on stolen basic goals here at Razzball, and I look forward to running back with you in the spring.
It has been a nice season. I finished sixth in Razzslam, and it was also nice in that competition to chase the title with an old friend of mine who moved from the state a few years ago. I changed him years ago at Razzball and now look at him … beating all the other participant. Congratulations to Robert Goldman for down and Sean Knurek come in second place.
Another highlight for me in the season includes a middle level in Perts League. I have had much less time than normal to work on Fantasy Baseball, one of these years, when I am old and retired, I can be able to pay almost enough attention to dropping 500 movements in a season. Son “Dad” will probably come there, but the man in the first place, Kirksey has only made 24 movements throughout the year. Just assumes that a good design and a bit of luck can take you all the way to the promised country.
Stolen basic goals for the past two weeks are really only the “speed guide plates”. I have not seen any big call -ups outside of Sal Stewart and Daylen Lile that I want to try to schedule for Steals, and those two are well discussed between these pages.
So thanks again to Gray, Rudy and Matttruss for allowing me to be part of the team, and I look forward to guiding you in a fantasy -hedge ball preparation in five short months!
Here is the current stolen base board up to and including Monday 15 September
The speed chooses
We went 0 for 4 to close the predictions of the speed this week. This places us on 14 for 63 of the season. Still a better average than most catchers in MLB. What could your SB point totally look like with 14 bags in the books?
Remember that these are specific stolen basic streaming goals for specific days on which the player is owned in less than 50% of ESPN competitions. All statistics represent both the combination of 2024 and the 2025 seasons.
Rockies vs Marlins – Tuesday September 16
Tyler Freeman – He is thrown away about a third of the time, but the Rockies don’t care at the moment. He has stolen 17 bases and the sprint speed is solid at 28.5 ft/sec. He just doesn’t get very good jumps. He will come across our favorite team to run against the Marlins and Eury Perez. You can find all Marlins catchers at the bottom of the throwing leaderboard, and Agustin Ramirez is the last death.
Marlins vs Rockies – Wednesday September 17
Otto Lopez – Turning around and focusing McCade Brown on the Rockies here. In limited action he has allowed a .293 SB/IP ratio. Lopez is still above the average at 28.5 ft/sec and has 33 steals with a conversion rate of 76.7% in the past two years.
Rockies vs Marlins – Thursday, September 18
Tyler Freeman – Yes, I know I’m going back to it again, but Marlin’s catchers are so bad, and Alcantara, while he gets better, still has a .199 SB/IP. Freeman is going to steal a base in one of these two games, and they are in Coors, so you can pick it up just as well for the week as it is available.
Tigers vs Braves – Friday September 19
Zach McKinstry – He runs on 28.2 ft/sec, but gets great lectures and jumps, allowing him to convert 92.3% of his attempts. He will be confronted on Friday with Bryce Elder and the Braves. Elder allows .135 SB/IP and a success rate of 86.7% against. Sean Murphy is great in reducing runners, but Drake Baldwin can be obtained if he is sitting behind the plate.
