Australia has demolished South Africa with 276 run in the dead rubber third ODI.

Australia chose to first hit a flat track in Mackay.

Australian openers were ruthless and brought up their highest opening partnership against South Africa.

Travis Head was at the forefront and brought a 7th century out of 80 balls. It was his first tons against Sa.

They were 201-0 after 28 overs.

They spent 250 in 34 overs when the first Wicket fell, the head found in the long term after 142 out of 103 balls (17 four, 5 sixes). Maharaj got the Wicket.

Marsh then yielded his century in 105 balls (6 four, 5 sixes). His second as opener and 4th in his career.

Muthusamy fired him and forced a top edge of a sweep and Rickelton ran to his left side to catch the skied ball on the square leg.

Australia was now 267-2 with 13 and a half overs left.

Cameron Green received the second fastest century for Australia in 47 balls when Australia passed 400.

Green finished 118 out of 55 balls (6 four, 8 sixes).

Alex Carey succeeded in ending in 50 of 37 balls (7 four).

Australia ended with 431-2 in 50 overs. This was their second highest score in history and highest in Australia.

The pursuit of the proteas was gentle. They were cast out for 155.

Dewald Brevis was the striking batter with 49 from 28 balls (2 four, 5 sixes).

Cooper Connolly took 5-22.

Australia won with 276, but lost the series 2-1.
