Bought by businessman Omar Ghrghar in the Middle East during the Fasig-Tipton Digital Sale, Shaq Diesel Visited the Circle of the Gulfstream Park Winner with trainer David Fawkes one last time on Saturday after scoring a dominant victory in the $ 75,000 Benny the Bull Handicap.
“He leaves,” said Fawkes. “He has been great for me. I love the horse. I hate it to see him go, but it is what it is.”
Shaq Diesel ($ 5.80), a winner with several settings with $ 380,000 in income in 25 previous starts for Fawkes and his former owners, was purchased for $ 160,000.
