Heading to the United Arab Emirates, the PFL Dubai event will stage an incredibly stacked first card of 2026 as the promotion’s lightweight champion, Usman Nurmagomedov, attempts to retain his inaugural title for the first time against Alfie Davis in the PFL Dubai Main Event. In the co-main event, former Bellator welterweight king Ramazan Kuramagomedov takes on Dagestan representative Shamil Musaev.

PFL Dubai Main Event

Undefeated at 20-0 with one no-contest, Nurmagomedov is one of the top athletes in his division in the world. He previously managed three title defenses while reigning as Bellator’s top lightweight. With his entertaining rivalry with Paul Hughes finally behind him, the American Kickboxing Academy prodigy is determined to reign over another organization as a perpetually dominant belt holder.

After a disappointing 2024 campaign, Davis produced a phenomenal run in the PFL 2025 155-lb tournament, defeating a trio of grim opponents: Clay Collard, Brent Primus and Gadzhi Rabadanov, handing the latter his first defeat in almost five years. The Ax Man, another Russian phenomenon, wants nothing more than to defy the odds again and earn the title of world champion in the process.

PFL Dubai Co-Main Event

Kuramagomedov shocks the world with his total dismantling of Bellator’s gold standard, Jason Jackson, making his big return to the competition after over a year away. With the first PFL Welterweight Championship on the line, America’s top team product has the opportunity to add even more to his trophy cabinet in Dubai.

Musaev has yet to taste defeat as a professional and has become one of the best fighters in the promotion since joining the PFL in 2024. No stranger to high-stakes title matches after winning the company’s welterweight division at one point, he takes to the Smart Cage to make a resounding statement after a year-long layoff.
