UFC Vegas 109: Andre Fili shows no signs of delay on 35, beats Christian Rodriguez

Featherweight promotion at UFC Vegas 109 On Saturday, Veteran Andre Fili saw related to Christian Rodriguez.

“Touchy” Fili had reduced victories and losses to 2022 and came from a loss for Melquizel Costa; “Cee-Rod” had also lost Costa in his last outing in something unlikely.

The first round saw both hunters exchange low leg kicks, while Rodriguez Fili pressed on the fence in search of a huge overhands. The hunters entered the conflict when Rodriguez Fili temporarily controlled the cage. While each returned to the center of the cage, Fili seemed to be hesitant. Rodriguez landed a good low leg kick and followed it with a quick shot above. Fili threw a powerful left hook that didn’t find a house, while Rodriguez landed a staircase on the legs.

Shortly thereafter, Fili Rodriguez caught clean with the same counter hook that he missed just before, fluctuated Rodriguez and forced him to withdraw. Rodriguez endured the storm and seemed to be restored by a minute in the round. Fili shot in and out of the reach of the landing sprayers and legs and climbed back in the fight in terms of important strikes. In a hope to turn the momentum into the fight, Rodriguez landed a Takedown against the fence for twenty seconds.

A back and forth first round could have been going in all directions if this entertaining game came in the second. Rodriguez threw Back -To -Back left hands that narrowly missed, because Fili was partially connected to a main kick up. Moments later, Rodriguez was able to grab a leg, but Fili defended well against the Takedown.

Both hunters started to throw caution for the wind and exchange on the huge strokes on the inside. Rodriguez forced the fight in the conflict, but Fili was able to separate and land a clean left -hand approach. Fili seemed to pull himself away in the second round to find a house for his injection. A quality knee landed from Rodriguez in the conflict with five seconds left. Fili saw another narrow round on total strikes.

In the third, Rodriguez threw a shot and entered the conflict. Forcing the fight to the Rodriguez fence searched for a Takedown, knees landed on Fili’s leg. After separating Rodriguez, a main kick landed but drugs on the floor by Fili who gives up a huge Takedown. When he went to the back of Rodriguez, Fili quickly switched to a dominant position. Rodriguez was able to escape a little later, because both large shots changed in the middle of the cage. After eating a large elbow, Fili landed another Takedown who probably won a victory. With another minute in the fight, Rodriguez climbed up and ate a body skirt on the way up. Every hunter stood and exchanged big shots while the last horn sounded. Fili should have achieved a huge victory like a gamble underdog.

After three rounds, the jury members were split again. This time the preference for Andre Fili. No idea how this fight could have been scored for Rodriguez, but at least the right hunter won the game. Fili and Daniel Cormier stated that they were surprised with the split decision, but Fili honored Christian Rodriguez and gave his teammates and coaches humble.
