Who has the record for the most first round match profits at the US Open? The answer is that it is the big Jimmy Connors who went 20-2 in the first round at the US Open Tennis event.

In the first round, Connors lost two of the first three times that he played at the event in 1970 and 1972 when the US Open was held on grass.

After Connors, the Roger Federer was a perfect 19-0 and then Novak is Djokovic 18-0. That is open in the 2025 US.

Former winner of 2014 Marin Cilic is 13-1, Carlos Moya 12-1 and Rafael Nadal was 16-0.

None of the big 3 tennis stars – Djokovic, Nadal, Federer – has ever lost in the first round in the US Open.
