Today we have two runners with Vecht poet who goes to Brighton for the 3.42 pm and Haven Haze in the Bumper in Worcester at 2.30 pm. Poet won the last time on a slightly shorter trip on the Sussex number, but four pounds rose for that victory. When he came a strong pace, everything went well for him during his last run, but he has a more difficult task today. However, he appears in good shape and hopefully the soil will not be too soft and he can give Adlestrop Club an exciting run.

Doe Taken against Ricardo Phillips, who also won the previous Timeout and has the distinction to be named after the former assistant of his trainer. As his handler notes, he took a long time to get the hang of things, but he managed to finally win in Leicester during his run. May the best horse win.

Harbor Haze (photo) ran well on his debut in Stratford last month when he finished third and will hopefully improve for the experience with giving more in the ground today. Harry Atkins takes the ride and claims seven pounds.

Mozart usually seemed to be the softer soil in Bath on Saturday evening and the straightforward remained upright on his recent form. Hopefully we can find similar circumstances in the coming weeks and he can build on these achievements.

Impaired to attend heros supporters’s lunch that was set up by charity last Thursday. It was an opportunity for anyone who contributed to the charity to see the progress it made and also to hear from their plans for the future. I am very happy that I am a trustee from Heros and Grace Muir and her team, turning around the lives of both people and horses thanks to their dedication and skill. The Adlestrop club has partially sponsored the event and we look forward to further supporting Heros in the future.
