A day short than six years since he arrived in St James’ Park, Miguel Almiron returns to the MLS club.

“The time is for me to say goodbye – against all of you and against a club with such an incredible history as Newcastle.
“I will always be grateful to the club for giving the opportunity to play in the best competition in the world, which makes a child’s dream come true.
“I leave with so many great memories that this shirt bear, in addition to my teammates, the staff, the directors and of course the incredible fans with whom I have had the privilege of sharing this trip over the years.
