Autumn is approaching quickly, and before we know it, we are surrounded by fresh air, changing leaves and cloning Mr. Autumn On every corner. But before all those leaves prepare the road sailing Ruin Kai Kogashiwa’s DayWhy not take a cruise to see them while they turn? Put the top down, blows the heat and take the world around you, while the foliage gives a final eruption of color before you disappear before the winter. And, while you do that, make sure you set up good music.
Earlier this week I asked you all to listen to the best autumn music to listen to leaves. Today we comb your answers through Iron Maiden to Peter Hughes, Deadmau5 to the Smashing Pumpkins, you have all presented a bit of everything as a soundtrack for your leaves. Let’s look at what you have suggested.
Peter Gabriel – Red Rain
“Red Rain” by Peter Gabriel is a great song to play while you pull on a highway.
“Never let me down again” from Depeche Mode is a great cruises number.
“Need to Feel Loved (Adam K & Soha Vocal Remix)” Van Reflekt is perfect for driving winding backs while the leaves fall from the trees.

This is really a historic piece, isn’t it?
Iron Maiden – run to the hills
Iron Maiden – run to the hills (usually my first song when touching the twisties on my bike in social) Not season -specific you …

After my own heart, Towman.
Peter Hughes – Fangio
Everything from ‘Fangio’ by Peter Hughes (also from the mountain goats). The entire album is based on the fascinating life of F1 driver Juan Manuel Fangio and comes together as a really great Synth-Pop voices. My personal favorite song is probably beating your half -star in swords.

Funky Dynamite, you knew something to do with the mountain goats or Peter Hughes is a shortcut to Jalopnik Inclusion, right?
Deadmau5 & Kiesza – Bridged by a light wave
A short time ago I had to ride somewhere in the fresh cool night. I had the windows down and the sunroof completely opened and absolutely felt this song on my night ride. Something about this beat and the cool air that touched my face gave me absolute goose bumps.

God, I have not thought of Deadmau5 since high school. Glad he still kicks around.
The stone roses – Waterfall
Waterfall, through the stone roses, although I suppose that is technically an autumn row number.

This track was released in 1991? I had believed 20 years earlier.
Boston – More than a feeling
I have a special playlist “convertible tunes” and I lead with “more than a feeling” (of course I am a boomer, on the tail)

“More than a feeling” is the one you will always hear on the classic Rockradio, but I have always preferred “forecast/long time.” The “foreplay” part over the “long time” part, certainly.
Norma Sheffield – if you want to stay
A Eurobeat number for you: if you want to stay at Norma Sheffield. This song could be seen in the first D: third phase during the race between Takumi Fujiwara and Kai Kogashiwa that took place on the Irohazaka ropes, complete with dry leaves.

Giattegians, I swear that I wrote that Kai Kogashiwa reference in the intro before I saw your comment. Great spirits think the same.
Smashing Pumpkins – Drown
“Drown” by the Smashing Pumpkins
Autumn is from Grunge and Drown has that withheld filthy vibes that are perfect for when the sky is finally cool enough to roll the windows down and crack the sun roof.

You wanted low-fi and grunge, and did you go for the Smashing Pumpkins? It is certainly an option. It is not illegal to listen to Billy Corgan’s voice.
Depeche Mode – Enjoy the silence
Fall Driving Song? If you are a Genx-er and from MTV, when “M” meant something, you probably remember this video and together what I like to do on a beautiful, fresh autumn day after a brutal week at work and I need a large dose of outdoor stress lighting … “Enjoy the Silence” by Depeche Mode. And if you have not seen the video, it will be on YouTube. Mr. Gahan has the right idea to find a place of loneliness and calmness.
(The wise@$$ in me says “axel f” of crazy frog alone to make people crazy … 😁)

You once have a song that you know from a youth who spends listening to classic Rockradio, but don’t you know by name? This is one of those songs for me. I remember music on MTV, but not very well.
Daddy – Problems – Boys of Summer
Boys of the summer, of course.

I know you probably meant the Don Henley version, but you didn’t give up, so I can connect my favorite representation of the track – the absolutely fantastic cover of Daddy Issues, from the album “Deep Dream.” The version of the atis hardly justifies a mention in comparison.
