Championship Baseball is back in the five districts.
The Brooklyn Cyclones-de High-a branch of the Mets-transferreds on Tuesday evening their first South Atlantic League championship with a 2-1 victory over the Hub City Spartanburgers to complete a sweep for the third general title of the club in the franchise history.
It marked the first for the cyclones since she made the switch to the entire South Atlantic League in 2021 in combination with the restructuring of Minor League baseball. They last won as a team in the short season in the now deprived New York-Penn League as a team.

The title ended a strong season in Brooklyn in which the cyclones gained a franchise record 72 regular season and make their way through the play-offs, the Greensboro Grasshoppers in the division series before he beat the Spartanburgers in two games to take the title.

Right -handed Dakota Hawkins was credited with the victory for the Cyclones, with 2 ⅔ Intens of relief, while he allowed a run on one hit and hit four.
Hoss Brewer received the salvation with a perfect ninth inning where he hit two.
