Joao Neves scored the winner in the 95th minute as Paris Saint-Germain returned to the Ligue 1 summit with a dramatic 3-2 win over 10-man Lyon.
Luis Enrique’s side left it late before taking all three points for the second league match in a row after Goncalo Ramos’ 94th-minute goal against Nice last weekend.
Although Senny Mayulu headed a decent chance early on at the Groupama Stadium, PSG broke the deadlock in the 26th minute when Warren Zaire-Emery latched onto Vitinha’s through ball, before firing into the roof of the net.
Afonso Moreira leveled Lyon four minutes later with a neat finish, but the visitors regained their lead in the 33rd minute. Vitinha robbed Tanner Tessmann of possession before finding Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who curled brilliantly behind goalkeeper Dominik Greif.
Nicolas Tagliafico hit the post before the hosts equalized five minutes into the second half, thanks to a brilliant half-volley from Ainsley Maitland-Niles who lobbed the helpless Lucas Chevalier.
However, Lyon were reduced to 10 men in the 93rd minute, with Tagliafico receiving a second yellow card for dragging Vitinha to the ground.
PSG took advantage of their numerical advantage with almost the last attack of the match, when Neves rose to head in Lee Kang-In’s corner.

Data Debrief: Another late, late showing from PSG
PSG have won consecutive Ligue 1 matches for the first time since September 2021 thanks to goals in second-half stoppage time.
Meanwhile, Lyon have now lost each of their last five summits with PSG, against one opponent for the first time since beating Nancy in 1982 and 1991.
Paulo Fonseca’s team has been sent off four times in Ligue 1 this season, while only Girona (five) has received more in the five major European competitions.
By opening the scoring for PSG, Zaire-Emery became the first player born in 2006 or later to find the net six or more times in the French top flight.
