Lammens Brother ‘Skeptical’ about Manchester United Move

The brother of the goalkeeper Senne Lammens of Manchester United said that he was initially ‘skeptical’ about the transfer of the keeper to Old Trafford.

Lammens came to Manchester United on Transfer Deadline Day of Royal Antwerp, in a deal with a value of approximately £ 18 million. The Belgian has signed as a replacement for Andre Onana, but was an unused replacement against Manchester City during the weekend.

Manchester United beat Galatasaray’s competition to sign Lammens this summer and the keeper’s brother said he preferred the Turkish champions.

Spend against Het NieuwsbladLammen’s brother, Tom, said he felt that Galatasaray was a better step for the development of the 23-year-old.

“There is a lot of quality, you play for trophies [Gala]And Senne might immediately leave his mark in the Champions League, “Tom said.

“I was initially skeptical about a move to United, because many players had already succumbed to the pressure and could not reach their full potential.

“But in the end it was Senne who had to make the decision. United gave him the best feeling. Partly because Tony Coton, the goalkeepers of United, had followed him for almost a year and was very convinced of his qualities.

“It would also be great if the club could return to its former glory and if Senne could contribute to that.”
