These keto smash burger tacos are loaded with minced beef, cheese, onions, lettuce and a tasty, homemade special low-carbohydrate sauce.

Smash Burger Tacos Ingredients

Special sauce ingredients
- ½ pound of ground beef
- ½ teaspoon Soda or kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon of mustard *Optional
- ¼ teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 (8-9 inch) Keto flour tortilla wraps
- 2 tablespoons of diced onion *Optional
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese, cut in two lengthwise
- ⅔ Cup grated iceberg lettuce

Instructions

Combine all special sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.

Heat a large frying pan or baking sheet on medium heat.

Divide the ground beef into two portions and each place them on a tortilla.
Use your hands to press and spread the ground beef over the tortilla.

Season each Smashburger with seasoned salt and pepper.

Squeeze a small optional mustard around every Smash Burger if you use the mustard option.

Place a hamburger, ground beef side down, in the pan or baking sheet.
Cook two to four minutes or until the beef is brown and ready.

With the help of a large spatula turner you carefully turn the hamburger tortilla.
Add optional onions and sliced cheese to the Tortilla -Hamburger and let it boil for another minute until the cheese melted.

As soon as the cheese melts, add grated lettuce and sprinkle with the special sauce. Repeat the process.

Fold the hamburger tortilla in two like a taco and place it on a plate.

Serve in whole or cut the taco in two and serve immediately.
Variations
- Spicy – Add chopped pepperoncinis or jalapenos to the Smashburger for some warmth.
- Luxury – You can add chopped cooked bacon, guacamole and chopped tomatoes to your Keto Smash Burger Taco.
