Yoshinobu Yamamoto had a no-hitter and a 3-0 lead due to 8.2 innings before he allowed a solo-home run, but when Blake Tinnen and Tanner Scott were unable to record one, the Dodgers would lose to the Baltimore Orioles.

“I think if you are entangled in something, you sometimes have to go back a bit or allow someone to let you take a step back and look at what is going on,” said Roberts. “I think we did that.”
Although Roberts did not directly say what he talked about with his team, he sheds more light on the current approach of his team and how he can shift it ahead.
“There is an approach, a mental part. I think it seems like guys trying to be a bit too careful, try to be perfect and try not to fail,” said Roberts. “That kind of mentality does not predict if you try not to make a mistake or to be perfect.
“I think those are things, the conversations I have had with the boys to give the freedom to just play freely. That means that you smile a little more and see more sunflower seeds and the energy.
It seems that balance is the latter that the Dodgers have shown lately, but after such a devastating loss it seems that things can’t get much worse.
All Dodgers can do it with less than a month left in the regular season, is to regroup and try to play a more well -known brand baseball. With a shrinking lead in the NL West, that well -known game must return as quickly as possible.
