Kate Garraway has shared who exactly turned down an invitation to join the Celebrity Traitors WhatsApp group for the star-studded cast members.
The 58-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter was the latest in a long line of Faithfuls to be banned from the roundtable on the BBC’s wink murder game.
Kate was the latest celebrity to leave the show ahead of next week’s finale episode and also the last to reveal her true identity following a ban.
The cast have all shared details of the WhatsApp group they have to talk about Traitors while the show airs – but Kate says show host Claudia Winkleman has declined the invitation to join.
The TV presenter told it The sun: ‘The WhatsApp group is actually going crazy all day and night. It’s brilliant.
‘We invited Claudia [Winkleman] to join the group, because obviously we all love Claudia. But she said no.

“She said, ‘You guys need a place just for you, now that you’re gone and you know what’s going on.’
It comes after Kate appeared on her show Good Morning Britain, this time as a guest, to open up about her sudden departure from the show and what it’s really like in the Scottish castle.
Kate explained why those ‘tense’ moments were never something she took personally, as she addressed what can be a ‘distant’ atmosphere around the round table.
āAt the end of the day it’s an incredible game that really sucks you in,ā she told Adil Ray and Ranvir Singh in the ITV studio.

‘No telephones, no contact with the outside world. You are absolutely in this intensity.
āI didn’t take it personally because I’ve lived real life or death. So at the end of the day, this is a game, and you know you’re not actually going to get killed.
‘You know you may not make it to breakfast, but life goes on. So I didn’t take it all personally, but I think it’s very easy to take it personally. You quickly come into contact with people in that cramped environment.’
Elsewhere in her interview with The Sun, Kate said she initially refused to carry a coffin in the dramatic stunt from episode two because it reminded her of the death of her husband Derek Draper.
After watching Charlotte Church and Paloma Faith struggle to carry the coffin without her, Kate stepped down to participate, but said the production team checked on her repeatedly and a psychologist was also present.
The Celebrity Traitors returns for the final on Thursday at 9pm on BBC One.
