Whether Brown actually makes the transition to the world of competitive violence after his roundball days end remains to be seen, but if he does make the transition to MMA, here is some pertinent information:

If Jaylen Brown does indeed make the jump to MMA once his basketball career is over, he would be the next athlete from another sport to make the transition to the cage. In late 2010, after his NFL career was derailed due to a domestic violence arrest, former Dallas Cowboys defenseman Greg Hardy tried his luck in MMA.
