Friday evening cream and Karmozijnrode Scrimmage in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall offered a first glimpse for IU basketball fans on a renewed schedule of 2025-26.
In a shorter than planned scrimmage, 3-point shooting and ball movement were themes in just under 19 minutes of game promotion for a selection that has to do with injuries.
The scrimmage, originally planned for four quarters of 10 minutes, contained fifteen minutes of 10 minutes to start, followed by two quarters of four minutes.
The last quarter was demolished after Jasai Miles left with a leg injury. After having spent some time with the athletic training staff, Miles gently walked from the couch to the IU dressing room.
After the scrimmage, Darian Devries and the players greeted fans and posed for photos on Branch Mccracken Court.
Indiana had only 11 healthy players available on Friday evening, including a few walk-ons.
De Hoosiers are currently without Jason Drake, Aleksa Ristic, Josh Harris and Nick Dorn, four of their 13 stock market players. Dorn’s return seems closest to the group while he brought himself back from an operation out of season to repair a Jones fracture in his foot.
In the opening quarter, the Crimson Team made seven of its nine 3-point attempts to win comfortably, 30-11.
The Crimson Roster contained Reed Bailey, Lamar Wilkerson, Conor Enright, Tayton Conerway, Trent Sisley and Tucker Devries. Sisley started the opening quarter in the Cream team, but moved to the Crimson near the half point of the quarter.
The cream -colored schedule consisted of Jasai Miles, Sam Alexis, Andrej Acimovic, Tryce Landing and Ian Stephens. Alexis started the period on the Crimson Roster, but moved to Cream.
The Crimson team shot 7-from-9 on 3S in the opening frame, including a 3-out-4 performance from Wilkerson. Devries hit 2-out-3 on triples, Conerway made his only 3-point attempt and Sisley made his both looks on long distance in the first quarter.
Wilkerson and Devries both had eight points in the opening quarter, Sisley had six points, while Bailey and Conerway each had four points.
In the second period, which Bailey saw go to the Carmo-Red Red in an exchange for Alexis, the cream had 9-4.
Bailey led all scorers in the four -minute frame with five points to go with three rebounds. Miles added four points and three rebounds.
From the Crimson Enright and Alexis each had two points.
The third period saw Wilkerson moved to the cream selection and Bailey shifts back to Crimson. While Crimson had the upper hand, 9-6, Wilkerson beat a few 3-Pointers.
Alexis led the cream-colored selection with six points and Conerway added three points of his second 3-Pointer of the evening.
There were no scoring statistics from the fourth quarter, because it started shortly after it because of the injury to Miles.
In general, the Hoosiers shot 10-from-26 on 3-PINTERS in the evening.
The last combined player point totals, which are unofficial, are available below:
Reed Bailey – Nine points

Tayton Conerway – Seven points
