Table Tennis England supports this year’s NSPCC that your child keeps safe in the sports campaign that runs from 6-12 October 2025.
We know that the part that a parent plays in their child’s sport can have a major impact on the well -being of their child and how they think about sport.
If you work directly with parents and carers in your club, competition or province, you can help us get this message.
We ask table tennis parents to play their bit and talk to their children about how they can get their best through positive actions and support. We want parents to consider how they show support before, during and after sport.
The most important messages from the NSPCC for parents are:
- The importance of listening to your child or young person
- How you are crucial to keep sport pleasure
- How essential it is that everyone feels respected
- Reminder that when you see something, something says
