Gunther Werks debuts a 1,000 hp Slantnose-inspired Porsche-Build on the quail during Monterey Car Week, limited to only 26 units.

Gunther Werks has chased a reputation in the car world for the re-establishment of air-cooled Porsche 911s in track-inspired, gone-worthy carbon fiber masterpieces. Their tailor -made builds have become synonymous with rarity, performance and extreme attention to detail among buyers and collectors – and this year they will arrive in Monterey Car Week with something that pushes their creativity even further. De Kwartel, a motorsport meeting is around the corner, and that is where Gunther Werks will reveal his very first insertnosis-inspired committee, a tribute to one of the most polarizing but legendary designs by Porsche.

The new project is inspiration from the iconic Porsche 935 and the notorious Slantnosis Road Cars from the 1980s, but this is unmistakably modern. The fightery-like profile of the car and the bodywork of carbon fiber signaling a large jump forward in both form and function. With only 26 units planned for production, it is a statement piece for drivers looking for something real unique. And with 1,000 hp on tap, it is about capturing the brutal essence of what a re -devised Porsche can be when each limit is pushed.

Gunther Werks has taken everything they have learned since their very first build and led it in this four -wheel masterpiece. This includes characteristic craftsmanship, absurd performance -upgrades and obsessive attention to detail. Although we have seen them redefine what the car can be of an analogue driver, this new projects and their most ambitious movement so far sound, both visually and mechanically, sounds so far.

The official unveiling was set for Friday, August 15 at 9.12 am on the Gunther Werks display on the quail. Whether you are a Porsche purist or just someone who appreciates wild engineering with an analogue soul, this is a debut that is worth circling on the Monterey Car Week calendar.
