Ghislaine Maxwell, who serves a 20-year prison sentence for helping Jeffrey Epstein who sexually abuses minor girls, told a top official from the US Department of Justice in July that she was not aware of a “customer list” who belonged to the deceased financier and never saw that a translated Donald Trump was erupted.

Maxwell, who argued for not guilty of the criminal charges established against her in 2020, has asked the American Supreme Court to destroy her conviction.

David Markus, Maxwell’s lawyer, said on Friday in a statement that the interview supports Maxwell’s argument that she is innocent.
“She supported her answers with documents and other objective evidence. Her attitude and credibility are clear to everyone to hear,” said Markus.

Markus has said earlier that Maxwell did not hold discussions with Trump about a possible grace, but that she would welcome “exemption”.

Blanche asked Maxwell about the interactions of her and Epstein with a wave of prominent democrats, including Bill and Hillary Clinton, former Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo and the democratic donor George Soros of the billionaire. Maxwell has none of those people involved in misconduct.
Maxwell said that she was working with Bill Clinton on his philanthropic efforts and that he used Epstein’s plane for a trip to Africa. But she said that Clinton never visited Epstein’s private island on the US Virgin Islands, where Epstein was accused of abusing some girls.
