FPL managers have traditionally preferred the use of the free chip in a blank or double. But it seems unlikely that we will be in the first half of 2025/26, unless there is a delay for bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

As a result, there is not really a striking moment to play it, so why not activate now, in Gameweek 4?

It can help you to navigate a weekend in which several important players come across difficult matchups. Bruno Fernandes (£ 9.0 million) has to visit Manchester City, while Nottingham Forest Assets such as such as like Chris Wood (£ 7.7 million), Elliot Anderson (£ 5.5 million), Matz Sels (£ 5.0 million), Murillo (£ 5.5 million) and Nikola Milenkovic (£ 5.5 million) are gone in Arsenal.

Combine this with injured or questionable players such as Cole Palmer (£ 10.4 million), Bukayo from (£ 9.9 million), Matheus Cunha (£ 8.1 million) and Jorgen Strand Larsen (£ 6.5 million), and it can be a sensible time to select a temporary team.

Hermila Hare (£ 6.5 million) is also injured, but free hitters can turn to other options for Crystal Palace versus Sunderland instead. It is also an opportunity to go hard on Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle United Namur, against Forest, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
