Four dead After Russia touches Ukraine with drones and rockets in ‘brutal’ attack

A 12-year-old girl was one of the four killed and at least 70 injured after a 12-hour Russian drone and rocket attack on Ukraine, with the capital Kiev on the toughest attack.

The Air Assault, which took place at night and until Sunday, was the first big bombing, because a similar attack killed at least 21 people last month.

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy condemned the “mean” bombing that lasted more than 12 hours and concerned nearly 600 drones and a few dozen rockets.

She said that the 12-year-old girl, named Oleksandra, who died in the attack, was her neighbor’s daughter.

“A neighbor kept beating on our door. She was completely covered with blood and shouted,” Help, save my daughter, “said Mrs. Kovalenko, who fled the building with her grandmother after the strike.

The attack also caused military reactions in neighboring Poland, where fighter jets were deployed early on Sunday when Russia struck goals in western Ukraine, according to the Polish forces.
