If you’re looking for an original way to incorporate more fish into your diet, these skinny carp fries are a hit. The combination of marinated fish, a crispy spelled flour crust and a light yoghurt dip provide a perfect taste experience with a high protein content.

For the carp you need:

  • 500 g carp fillets
  • 80 g fine spelled flour
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika powder
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • a handful of parsley
  • olive oil spray
  • ground pepper to taste
  • salt to taste

Preparation:

Remove the skin from the carp fillet and cut them into individual fries. Then whisk the ingredients together in a separate bowl eggs with the pressed garlic, lemon juice, finely chopped parsley, ground black pepper and salty. Mix the carp fries with this marinade and fry briefly marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

In another small bowl, mix the flour of ground paprikaand once the fries are marinated, brush them with the mixture. Place the prepared fries in an air fryer, spray them with oil spray and pre-bake 12 minutes at 180°C. Turn the fries after 6 minutes so that they become golden brown on all sides. If you have a smaller air fryer, you may need to fry the sticks in two batches.

Carp fries - Deep frying

While the carp fries are baking, prepare the dive. Mix the Greek yogurt with the honey mustard zero saucecrushed garlic, ground pepper and salt. When everything is ready, neatly arrange the carp sticks and serve them with the dressing.
