Now it’s almost time! At the beginning of next week we will be going abroad for the first time of the year. The flight takes just over an hour and we will be there for three days. We are looking forward to this!
Where are we going?
Where are we going then? Well, this trip goes to Sopot in Poland! This is a press trip, in collaboration with Visit Sopot, focusing on what you can see and experience in Sopot in winter.
In summer Sopot is a very popular holiday destination, with its long beautiful sandy beaches and its many hotels and restaurants. We have been here several times with our camper, and we have to say that Sopot is a favorite during the summer months.

What is Sopot like in winter?
What is Sopot like in winter? Yes, it remains to be seen… We recently visited a somewhat similar destination (along the same stretch of coast) in the month of December, in the form of Usedom. It was a very nice visit, so probably it can also be nice in Sopot in winter. But like I said, we’ll get to that!

What should we do in Sopot?
Because the trip to Sopot is a press trip, we have a program. Of course we visit the long, beautiful pier in Sopot. There are also a guided walk, museum, art gallery, boat trip, spa bath or sauna and restaurant visit. Maybe we can also organize some excursions ourselves… Do you have any tips for places in Sopot that we should not miss?

How to get to Sopot?
It is perfectly possible to reach Sopot by car or camper. For example, you can go with Polferries from Nynäshamn to Gdansk or with Stena Line from Karlskrona to Gdynia. This time we are flying, and it will be a flight from Stockholm to Gdansk. From Gdansk to Sopot it is only half an hour by car.
Follow our journey!
Feel free to follow our journey if you’re curious about what Sopot has to offer this time of year! We will mainly provide updates on Instagram during the trip, at @freedomtravel.se . As soon as we have time, text and photos will of course also be added here!
