BitMex co-founder Arthur Hayes says that Ethereum (ETH) could increase this cycle to $ 20K, fed by buying Ethereum Treasury companies and “absolutely insane” American money prints.
Co-founder of cryptobanter Ran Ran Neuner asked Hayes in a interview If he thinks ETH will fall to $ 3K before it sets up a new of all time (ATH) or if another scenario will take place.

Hayes said that the growing number of companies raise money to buy the Altcoin to build Ethereum treasuries behind his bullish thesis.
As the price of ETH rises, he predicts that it will be easier for those companies to raise more money, which will lead to more purchases and then send the ETH price higher.
That is like companies such as Sharplink Gaming, which is led by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin, and Bitmine Immersion Technologies, led by Fundstrat Cio Thomas Lee, continue to buy more ETH.
Data from Strategiceth Reserve shows that 69 Ethereum Treasury companies currently have 4.10 million ETH.

He then believes that the government “will be absolutely insane with how much money they will print.” He expects this to print until Trump leaves the office.
That can lead to a “long-term” crypto market cycle that breaks out of the usual 4-year trend and lasts until 2027 or 2028, he said.
The basic case of Hayes is that “we are going to have a huge bull market” for all types of financial assets related to everything that Trump “thinks it is important between now and when he leaves the office.”
The only thing that voters care is “their wallet,” he said. He then argued that if voters have the feeling that they are not ‘improving’ economically while Trump is in office, they will simply choose ‘the other man’.
Hayes prefers ETH above Sol for this cycle
Hayes said that both Eth and Solana will “go up”, but added that Sol will probably not beat ETH. While ETH is “the larger possession to move”, there is “a lot of money it follows,” he said.
As such, Hayes says that he would be ‘more overweight ETH’.
