The Los Angeles Dodgers heard for the first time from veteran outfielder Michael Conforto about his exclusion from the postseason roster thus far. After apparent problems during the regular season, he hopes to be part of the roster again ahead of the World Series.
In other news, superstar Shohei Ohtani sent a message to fans after his historic performance in the NLCS. The starting pitcher/designated hitter dazzled the diamond on Friday night, striking out 10 in six scoreless innings and hitting three home runs to help his team return to the Fall Classic.
Speaking of history, the starting rotation made postseason history after dominating the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS. A combined ERA of 0.63 from the four starters made things extremely difficult for the 97-win Brewers.
