Dodgers Notes: LA Interested in Kyle Tucker, Shohei Ohtani ‘Grateful’ He chose LA, Mookie Betts Praise

The Los Angeles Dodgers are expected to make a play for All-Star outfielder Kyle Tucker. The Chicago Cubs slugger had a down year and dealt with a host of injuries, but is poised for a big payday this season.

In other news, superstar Shohei Ohtani revealed he is “grateful” to join the Dodgers ahead of last season. After everything Ohtani has done for the Dodgers thus far, most recently his historic game to send them back to the World Series, it’s safe to say the Dodgers are grateful to have Ohtani as well.

Finally, superstar shortstop Mookie Betts received incredible praise from an MLB analyst and was called “one of the greatest defensemen of all time.” Betts made the unprecedented move from right field to shortstop this season, doing so at a Gold Glove-caliber level and earning a spot as a finalist at the position many believe is the most demanding on the diamond aside from catcher.
