Uncle Charlie to throw another curve in Braves final

Charlie Morton has not had any more illustrious career, but he has had a good one.

In his 18th MLB season, Morton achieved around 31 wins. He retires something that looks like a 147-134 career record and a 4.13 ERA. His career -strikeout rate is a bit shy of 9 per 9 innings, and his running speed is around 3.5. Morton got ground balls on about half of his bats balls.

However, you can split Morton’s career into two parts. Originally raised by the Braves during the heyday of the zinc shed, Morton was the next biggest thing in that sense. He did not have long in the Majors for Atlanta, eventually traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates for * sighs heavily * Nate McLouth in a poorly advised who cleared the road for Andrew McCutchen and the few years that the pirates were actually good. Morton would pitch in Pittsburgh for most of the next decade before he was taken over by the Phillies in 2016. This was then his career turned around.

Morton largely went behind the zinc shed and concentrated more on the age of four and went from Groundball specialist to a strikeout king. The Astros would sign him after a very short stint in Philadelphia, and he new life in his career. He peaked in Tampa Bay in 2019 with a season of 6 wins. He came to Atlanta in 2021.

Morton was good for 4 seasons in Atlanta from 2021-2024. He remained very effective in his mid -thirty, although his later seasons caused some frustration here and there. Atlanta let him hit the last season from the free years, and he signed with Baltimore before he was traded to Detroit. He has not been very good, he ended up here for a batter final.
