Farmingdale, New York: This is followed by the Friday morning Foursomes -Sessieparen who will kick off the 2025 Ryder Cup in Bethpage Black in the state of New York.
The biennial confrontation will be live on OTT platform FANCode from 4.30 p.m.
Match 1 (4.40 pm)
Bryson Deschambeau & Justin Thomas (US) vs. Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton (EUR)
You want to coordinate for this.
Bryson Deschambeau and Justin Thomas work together for the first time, two emotional centers of energy that will try to improve their collective foursomes record of 2-5-0.
Thomas brings the most experience in the American team with 13 in total games played.
The first of the four buses of Team Europe is no surprise, after a 2-0-0 record in Foursomes together on the Ryder Cup 2023 in Rome.
It will be a third outing for the explosive Rahm-Hatton duo, who also earned half a point at Fluitstraat in four balls against Dephambeau and Scottie Scheffler.
Interestingly, this will be the fourth consecutive Ryder Cup where Justin Thomas and Tyrrell Hatton meet in a Ryder Cup.
So far that Record leans for Thomas, who defeated Hatton and Paul Casey at the last hole at Le Golf National, triumphed 4 and 3 in singles at Whistling Straits, and bond his match alongside Jordan Spieth against Hatton and Viktor HOVOLAND in Rome.
Rahm also played two earlier occasions against Thomas and lost in 2018 to the Thomas-Spieth team in Four-Balls, before beating the same combination with Sergio Garcia two years later.
Match 2 (16.56 hours)
Scottie Scheffler & Russell Henley (US) vs. Ludvig Åberg and Matt Fitzpatrick (EUR)
There are hints of a Rome brake match in this.
World no. 1 Scottie Scheffler combines for the first time with Ryder Cup -smokie Russell Henley, with Scheffler looking for his first square victory in two Ryder Cup performances.
They work together against a new combination in Ludvig Åberg and Matt Fitzpatrick in a first combination for Team Europe.
Ludvig, who went 2-0-0 in Foursomes with Viktor HOVOLAND in Marco Simone-Including a record-breaking 9 & 7 victory against Scheffler and Brooks Koepka 2 foursomes during the day, finds himself a new partner in Matt Fitzpatrick.
Both Fitzpatrick and Scheffler, who meet each other in a Ryder Cup for the first time, are each looking for their first four cushion points for their respective teams.
Match 3 (5:12 pm is)
Collin Morikawa and Harrish English (US) vs. Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood (EUR)
For the link of Morikawa and the English of the United States, this is the first time they have played together in a Ryder Cup.
Morikawa plays in his third consecutive Ryder Cup and has a 2-1-0 record in Foursomes. English, who played in Whistling Straits and one point four years ago, did not play Foursomes match and will make his debut with Morikawa.
Following their 2-0-0 Foursomes record in Rome, Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood work together again as one of Europe’s two repeated squares combinations for the opening session at Bethpage Black.
While Tommy Fleetwood-Die has first confronted a 4-0-0 career fourth record with both players, McIlroy has played both Morikawa and English in previous Ryder Cups, every time in four-ball sessions.
Two years ago he and Matt Fitzpatrick Morikawa and Xander Schauffele 5 & 3.
At Whistling Straits, however, he had a losing record against both, reports alongside Shane Lowry 4 & 3 by English and Tony Finau on day 1, and reports alongside Ian Poulter 4 & 3 by Dustin Johnson and Morikawa on day 2.
Match 4 (5:28 pm is)
Xander Schaffele and Patrick Cantlay (US) vs. Robert Macintyre and Viktor HOVOLAND (EUR)
Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay return to mate together in the anchor competition for the United States. The duo played four games together: two at Whistling Straits in 2021 and two at Marco Simone, with 2-2-0 as partners.
On the European side, Robert Macintyre was the most successful Rookie in Rome and will be in Foursomes for the first time in Foursomes in his Ryder Cup career.
He is in a new partnership with Viktor HOVOLAND, which was half of the record-breaking Scandinavian foursomes record in Marco Simone with Ludvig Aberg. Of these four players, only HOVOLAND and Cantlay have ever met each other in an earlier Ryder Cup.
Competing in the last game with four ball on Saturday at Le Golf National, the duo of HOVOLAND and Fleetwood brought their match against Thomas and Cantlay.
During Viersomes competitions, players in each team use a single golf ball and make alternative recordings to complete the gap. Couples and starting times for the Friday afternoon four-ball session are announced shortly after the end of the morning session. (Courtness ryercup.com))
