Champions were crowned in all four disciplines:
- Stephen Gogolev captured his first national title in men’s singles
- In women’s singles Madison Schizas held off a fierce challenge Gabrielle Dalemana former world medalist and 2018 Olympian who was on the comeback trail this season
- In pairs, 2024 world champions Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps faltered in the free skate, with Lia Pereira and Trent Michaud claim the gold
- In ice dancing, however, things went as expected, as a four-time world medalist Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier won their fifth national title
Only one spot for it Milan Cortina 2026 is available for Team Canada in the men’s and women’s events.*
Meanwhile, three spots for ice dance teams are available, while two couples get the nod to head to Italy next month.
Each of the national champions has been named to the Canadian Olympic team, with Stellato/Deschamps and the ice dance teams of Marie-Jade Lauriault and Romain Le Gac, Zoe and Zacharary. will also get the nod to Italy next month.
