Los Angeles Dodgers Reliever Brock Stewart was placed on the injured list with right shoulder inflammation last week.

Stewart revealed that he started to feel discomfort during the Dodgers’ series against the St. Louis Cardinals. The MRI showed inflammation and he had two shots in his right shoulder to relieve the pain.
The right -handed does not throw a week, but the plan is that he builds up again.
“If I can eliminate it in a few weeks and go back to help the team in the run -up to the play -offs, it’s great,” said Stewart. “That is certainly the plan.”
Manager Dave Roberts has made it clear that Stewart will not return soon; However, he called it the “best scenario given the circumstances.”
“Pretty benign, wear,” said Roberts about Stewart’s injury after testing. “It will take a few weeks until he returns.”
Stewart was the most striking pick-up of the Dodgers at the Handelsdeadline, and his arrival was intended to strengthen the most used bull pen in baseball. Things apparently did not go according to plan, because the righthander only made four performances for LA before he was sidelined.
Stewart has given up two runs and six hits about 3.2 innings that come from the Dodgers Bullpen, resulting in a 4.91 ERA.
Michael Kopech, Kirby Yates and Tanner Scott are also on the IL and leave the bullpen without any best relievers. Although all four pitchers are expected to return, there is no guarantee that they will perform well from an injury.
However, the Dodgers continue to trust their selection when the late season is approaching quickly.
