“It has certainly been a few weeks for me,” said Anisimova in her press conference after the game. “I feel that I learned a lot about myself.
“I think I can take a lot of positives, and see it as a lot of progress for me, just find out ways to take on certain challenges and push myself into moments that it feels like I can’t continue.”
Anisimova, who ended the title defense of her countryman Gauff in the semi-final, sealed the game with a backhand winner along the line and fell on her back when she first won the China Open-Trophy.
Noskova offered a tough challenge, but no longer hit steam in the final phase of the final, which lasted an hour and 46 minutes.
The 20-year-old had saved 3 match points in the semi-final against World No 5, Jessica Pegula, before he has prevailed in a match tiebreak and the youngest Czech player that went so far on a WTA 1000 event after two and a half hours on Saturday evening, because the size was introduced in 2009.
She now climbs to a career-best no. 17 in the world, and becomes the new Czech No. 1 for Karolina Muchova, and also rises 5 places to no. 15 in the race to the WTA final, and although the qualification for Riyadh remains a long shot, another deep run in Wuhan could post the top of the top.
The 24-year-old Anisimova, second place in both Wimbledon and the US Open this year, has risen to no. 4 in the world ranking.
After her straight victories over Katie Boulter of Great Britain and Zhang Shuai from China, including a marathon tiebreak, Anisimova came from a set in back-to-back games against Muchova and Jasmine Paolini from Italy, on setting up a semi-finale showdown.
Anisimova sent Gauff convincingly, 6-1 6-2 in 58 minutes and entered the final as the clear favorite, although Noskova gave her a run for her money.
“It has been an incredible few weeks,” said Anisimova during the trophy presentation ceremony. “I want to congratulate Linda. You have played great, and you are still so young, so I am sure we have many more finals to play in. I am excited to see your progress and see how your career is going. I am sure it will be really great, so congratulations to you and your team.”

Anisimova came to shoot out, won the first 6 games of the game and converted all 3 breaking points to the opening set in just 23 minutes.
After he had overwhelmed Noskova, it seemed unlikely that the Czech, who played 1000-final in her first WTA, would be able to mount any form of Come-Back, but the 20-year-old responded admirably and broke Anisimova to start the second set and maintain her momentum.
She saved 2 breaking points, contributed to the frustrations of Anisimova and played a more confident brand tennis to force a decision -maker, but in that third set the American settled and returned to the form that had gathered the first, dominating on Serve and Schoot Winner on the winner.
The last turning point came with Noskova who served on 2-3, when, after having held in 6 consecutive games, an early miss on the Break point gave the opening she needed, and the American closed the game by packing the last 4 games, with the finishing touches on her championship master work after hand.
The last backhand Anisimova 187th of the tournament, a stat that only Clara Tauson exceeded this season in a WTA 1000 event, with 196 winners in Dubai.
“It is very special to win the victory,” she said. “Thank you [to my team] To share that with me, you are the best. I am excited for much more and hopefully we can continue.
“Also, for my family at home, I am sure you are looking now. I am excited to talk to you and see you quickly. I love you. And with my nephews, which I think might look – Hi Jackson, Kylo, I love you.”
Anisimova ended the tournament with 3 top 15 victories and 4 victories on players arranged in the top 30, and with the victory, and the 3rd American who conquered the China Open Women’s Singles title, member of Serena Williams in 2004 and 2013, and Gauff was also the Multime Wta in the first year.
It is a short change for both players, who immediately go to Wuhan for the last WTA 1000 event of the season, where Anisimova will try to complete the China Sweep.
From there, her focus will shift at the beginning of November to the WTA final in Riyadh, where she will make her debut at the seasonal championships.
She does not remain 4 in the world ranking, but catches Gauff for the No. 3 place in the race to the WTA final.
